This workbook and journal for beginners has four parts with Shadow Work in each:
Part One: Introducing the Shadow
Part Two: Examining the Family Tree
Part Three: Journal Exercises
Part Four: Questions to Challenge and Merge You and Your Shadow
"The secret is out: all of us, no exceptions, have qualities we won’t let anyone see, including ourselves – our Shadow. If we face up to our dark side, our life can be energized. If not, there is the devil to pay." — Larry Dossey
"This is part of our journey, learning our misconceptions and how those have injured us, our relationships, our dreams, our potential. Not to mention steal our joy and more importantly, our peace. Getting that back, or for the first time, is a painful road but one worth traveling. It begins with self-acceptance. Accepting all our parts-good, bad, and boring. To do that, we have to SEE those parts. Those things that we have disowned, denied, hidden out of our sight." — Diana Lea
Embark on a journey deep into the darkest corners of your psyche, embrace the demons within and be transformed by them. Uncover the gifts and power you never knew you had and reach the next level of healing. Discover life changing skills and insights. Break through the chains and invisible forces that bind you, and unleash your energy, creative power, and true compassion. Awaken your deepest potential and create a life that is barely recognizable.
Shadow Work is not for the faint-of-heart. It is possible that exploring your inner demons can actually make you feel much worse and could possibly spiral into self-hatred or worse.
Before approaching Shadow Work, I strongly and emphatically encourage you to build up your self-worth and/or get a licensed therapist that specializes in trauma recovery or Shadow Work.
This type of work WILL ABSOLUTELY bring traumas that you don’t remember to the forefront of your mind. Yet, this is when the real healing can finally begin.
